Battery Management System (BMS)
Because of difference of internal resistance, voltage, current and external environment, the actual voltage of single lithium battery is unbalanced, which results in damage of individual batteries due to overcharge or over-discharge and thus reduces service life. BMS is to manage batteries to maintain a better state and work steadily through an intelligent energy balance management for single battery during charging and discharging to prolong the service life and improve the safety and reliability of lithium battery pack. |
